– Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
Fun fact about my copy of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: I got it from my dad (the book probably hadn’t been touched since the 90s) and I found some old postcards stuffed in the pages from New York City when he went there on a business trip in 1998(ish…could’ve been anywhere from ’98-’00). Yes, one of them featured a landmark that isn’t quite standing today. I left the postcards where they are because there is something about keeping them where they have been stored that I find important. Just a fun fact (depending on your definition of fun).
