“We didn’t come all this way, survive all we have, only to lose each other again,” he said. “You won’t allow that. I know you won’t, but if you can’t believe in that yet, then believe in me until you can.”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The third installment in this series did not live up to my own expectations. I found myself getting bored and unable to focus in at some points of the book. It won’t stop me from reading the final installation though. I didn’t lose interest in the series.

Oh sweet alien babies, I do love this world JLA has created. I don’t think there’s anything within the Lux world that I wouldn’t enjoy. The Burning Shadow lived up to my expectations after The Darkest Star and then some.

If you don’t like aliens, a story that will make you grin ear-to-ear, or an author who can write leading men like it’s second nature then this isn’t the book for you.

The kiss was almost too powerful, too primitive. It ripped open the ball of dread that rested low in my belly, because it was the kind of kiss wrought from the fear of losing someone, and that made our situation all the more real.

It made what I had done all the more painful.

I’d remained in bed after that, trying to sort through the odd tingling in my chest. There was a slight smile on my lips, because Zayne…well, he’d made my day, but then I’d remember what Roth had said to me the night before and the smile would wash away as if it had never been there.

This book took me too long to get through but I loved it! Just so much turmoil and love for Roth… This book nearly killed me. Continue reading “Stone Cold Touch (The Dark Elements, #2)”

There was something about Roth that spoke to me, all of me. Something I wasn’t sure I’d felt before.

More like White Hot Amazing.

Okay, that was a little cheesy. But I am being serious, this book was amazing. Continue reading “White Hot Kiss (The Dark Elements, #1)”
